2002. Amber started her cosmetology journey whilst attending her junior and senior years of Gloucester High School. After school hours she assisted and shadowed daily alongside the well known master colorist, Larry D Webb at Salon VIVACE. Along with Wella International, Salon VIVACE submerged their hairstylists into international travel, classes and hair shows during her time there until 2008. Once licensed in June of 2004, Amber began her life as a licensed cosmetologist, she would then go on to spend 10 years at Style by Design which was the start of her journey as an independent hair stylist. As a very valued time within both salons, she viewed those years and people as “Forever friends Will be forever family.” 2023. 20 years later and a self employed small business owner, You can now find Amber Houston at Sola Salon Suites in Newport News in suite 5. When Amber is not working she has many hobbies such as being at the beach on her stand up paddleboard, practicing yoga and taking care of her many plant babies. You can always find her spending time with her husband Casey of 17 years and their two beautiful children Ella and Keiren.❤️Business Hours
